The village of Roquefixade is located on the Cathar and the Bonshommes footpaths.

The village is located at 700m altitude. The castle, at 900m altitude, has spectacular 360° views over the Pyrenees and surrounding areas.

There are many hill walking routes near to Roquefixade castle or around the village.
Being ourselves locals, we have perfect knowledge of this region and we can advise you on various walks according to your age and physical fitness.

Family hikes in summer or winter sports at the Monts d'Olmes ski resort, just 30 minutes away, there are a whole host of activities for everyone, all of them in a splendid natural setting. Special offers for our customers in the gite (-5 € for a day ski ticket, -15%/-20% for the ski rental).
